Hawthorn Pale Ale is our unique interpretation of this classic and popular style. This Pale Ale presents a rich and complex malt character, derived from a bold blend of five different types of grain. Lightly kilned, the use of our specialty malts gives this beer a deep golden colour.
The malt character is wonderfully balanced by the inclusion of five complementary varieties of hops. Sourced from New Zealand, Southern England and the US Pacific Northwest by The Flavour Merchants, these fresh hops deliver a saporous fruit and spice flavour, whilst a generous addition of hops late in the boil presents a delightful floral and citrus aroma.

Amber Ale
Hawthorn Amber Ale is a rich malt flavoured ale, presenting itself as dark auburn coloured with hints of red. More British than the Queen's corgi's, our Amber Ale is meticulously brewed to the true Northern English style.
The inclusion of the world famous base malt – Maris Otter, ensures a lovely rounded body, whilst a small addition of Chocolate Malt in the grain bill delivers a warm bittersweet roasted caramel flavour.
Mild English hops balance the sweet malt nicely, and plenty of dry hopping after the fermentation infuses a floral and spice aroma.
Hawthorn Amber Ale is an all malt beer with no added sugar, chemicals or preservatives. Smooth and well balanced, drink it a few degrees warmer than the fridge for the full flavoured experience. Best from a glass.

Pilsner
Hawthorn Pilsner draws inspiration from the famous lager regions of Europe. With Pilsner Malt as the base and just a hint of light Crystal Malt, it pours a crystal clear gold colour.
Cool fermentation with an imported yeast strain and a lengthy cold storage ensures a very clean & crisp palate, while the use of noble German hops mid way through the boil introduces a delectable floral flavour. Finally we dry hop a fresh Czech variety for a delicate spicy aroma.
Highly refreshing and light to medium in body, Hawthorn Pilsner is the perfect easy drinking beer.
